Meet artists and artisans and witness how they use their skills to craft the most exquisite pieces. If you are lucky, you might just be invited home! Highlights of Ubud & Monkey Forest (Half Day)
Hop out into the delights of Ubud with this half day tour. Begin by visiting Bali Palace, the official residence of Bali’s royal family, and a fascinating example of Balinese history and architecture. Head onwards to the ARMA, or Agung Rai Museum of Art, which is dedicated to promoting Indonesian art and culture, including traditional dance forms and musical performances using the bronze percussion instruments of gamelan. The museum is set within beautiful landscaped gardens with zen water features. Head onwards to the sacred Monkey Forest, which conserves rare plants, promotes spiritual well being with its onsite temple, and has plenty of monkeys! Afterwards, stroll the streets of Ubud to enjoy the local wares, including food, clothing, and art.(Half Day; Private activity & transfer; Travel time to activity: 15 mins; Duration: 3 hrs; Fitness level: Easy)

Private Cooking Class with Local Family (Half Day)
Discover the intricacies of Indonesian cuisine. Begin your culinary lesson with a visit to a local home, accompanied by your host Dewa. Located in a small town, the charming house belongs to Dewa and his wife Jero. The house is flanked by an organic garden where Dewa grows all his vegetables, spices and herbs. As Dewa will proudly tell you, his gardening skills are inherited from his grandfather! Assist your host in picking out the ingredients necessary to your meal and join Jero for your cooking class. Learn how the local people prepare a traditional Indonesian meal with fresh natural produce. As you cook and chat with your hosts, gain insights into the local culture and life of Bali, which is intrinsically linked to the food of the region. Once you are down, sample the fruits of your labor with a hearty meal with the family. Afterwards, your host will take you back to your hotel. Mt.Batur Sunrise Trek & The Holy Spring of Tirta Empul
Catch the sunrise over Mt Batur with an early morning trek to the peak. You will leave your hotel around 3am and reach the starting point of the trek after a 1 hour drive. The climb up to the peak takes 60-90 minutes and the final stretch is quite steep. Experience a breath-taking view of the sunrise and a panoramic view of the valley and Lake Batur below. Coffee or tea as well as a light breakfast can be had at the peak. After your climb down, energize your body and mind with a swim in the hot springs at the shore of Lake Batur before visiting the Tirta Empul Palace, a holy spring water temple at Tampak Siring Village where you can watch Balinese Hindus purifying their souls. Drive from Ubud to Munduk Enroute Ulun Danu Temple Trek in Tamblingan Rainforest and Canoeing in Tambligan Lake (80 km, 4 hrs)

Munduk in Bali is undoubtedly one of the most charming mountain villages of Indonesia. With its lush hills that are dotted with jungles, paddy fields, fruit trees and other island plants, it is the ideal location to unwind within the harmony of nature.

En route to Ubud, experience the breathtaking scenery of central Bali! Stop at the 17th century Ulun Danu Temple located at the shores of beautiful Bratan lake.The temple is said to be dedicated to the mythical goddess of the lake. Continue towards Ubud and take a short walk through a dense rainforest to nearby Lake Tamblingan. Head to the northern side of the water and climb aboard your canoe. As you are getting rowed along to the western shore you can witness views of two adjacent volcanoes. Further along, you will see a beautiful sacred spring, which is only accessible by water. When you reach the village of Gubug, your car will be waiting for you to continue your journey to Ubud.(Half Day; Private activity & transfer as it is en route to Ubud; Duration: 2 hrs; Fitness level: Easy; Please wear comfortable shoes.)

Munduk Waterfall Worlds Tour (Half Day)
Splash out to experience the island’s most fabulous waterfall during your tour of Munduk village. At an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, it is easily one of the most beautiful sights on the island. Head out on nature walks in the fresh mountain air where you will experience lovely coastal views. En route you can enjoy witnessing the many clove, coffee, avocado, taro, durian and banana plantations that are scattered all over the verdant landscape of North Bali. Munduk Moding Plantation Activity (Hotel Activity)
While staying at the Munduk Moding Plantation, you can select from a wide range of eclectic activities that are designed to introduce you to North Bali’s hill culture. Indulge in your love for coffee, for instance – learn how the Robusta and Arabica coffee beans are cultivated, harvested, dried, cleaned, and prepared in the traditional Balinese manner. You will also learn about modern day coffee-making processes. Nature lovers can learn to create contemporary and traditional offerings from flowers, plants, and bamboo in local Balinese style. Go kite-making and learn how to fly kites, which is an important sport in the hills of Bali. The Balinese clothing workshop is your chance to learn firsthand about local attires – for men, it’s the sarong, saput and udeng while women prefer the sarong and Balinese wraparound scarves. Uluwatu is an vast limestone peninsula on the southwestern corner of Bali in Indonesia. Renowned for its fantastic surfing conditions which locals believe are a blessing from the Gods, the region attracts many a surfer in search of the perfect wave.

Discover a spectacular Indonesian temple. Enroute to Ubud in the morning, stop by Tanah Lot located on the western coast of Bali. The 15th century temple is perched on a giant rock in the sea, which has been shaped by the tide and the crashing waves of the Indian Ocean, over millions of years. The temple itself was built by local fishermen, who received instructions from Nirartha – a Hindu priest from Java arrived in Bali during the time of the Majapahit Empire. Tanah Lot is one of the seven sea temples located on the Balinese coast that were built to protect the island from harm. A fundamental element of Balinese mythology and legend for centuries, the temple is an essential symbol of Balinese religion and cultural heritage. Uluwatu Temple Sunset Visit with Kecak Dance Performance (Half Day)
In the late afternoon, drive to Pura Luhur Uluwatu (or Uluwatu Temple), which is regarded as one of the principles spiritual pillars of Bali. The temple is renowned for its fabulous location – by the sheer drop of a steep cliff, located 70 meters above the sea. This is the ultimate place to witness Bali’s delightful sunsets, especially with the Indian Ocean as your backdrop! If you appreciate ancient culture then you may also enjoy the delicate sculptures and Balinese architecture of the temple. After sunset, you can witness a traditional Kecak dance performance. This unique show is overseen by a male choir who rhythmically intone the syllables ke-cak, while a dance troupe of 50 men dance in circles.
