Discover Mount Everest in a most unique activity! This hour long flight begins early morning so that you can receive the best possible aerial views of the Tibetan Plateau’s lakes and glaciers of the earth’s highest mountain. The sheer size of Mount Everest when you look down is a mind-blowing experience, twice the size of the French Alps and more awe-inspiring from above. Sometimes the mountaintop feels so close that you could almost reach through your window and touch it!

Discover The Heritage Haunts Of Kathmandu
Discover the deeply spiritual heart of Nepal on this day tour of the key Hindu and Buddhist temples in Kathmandu. Begin your tour at Pashupatinath, an immensely revered pilgrimage site built in the design of a Buddhist pagoda. At the Swayambhunath Temple, its your turn to spin the sacred prayer wheels that encircle its huge circular base, each embossed with Buddhist mantras. Admire the traditional Buddhist artwork placed within the shrine (chaitya) and afterwards, attend a prayer session by Buddhist monks. Afterwards, travel to the ancient Boudhanath Stupa, one of the oldest and largest Buddhist stupas in Nepal. Admire its graceful architectural lines and watch Tibetan pilgrims circle the Stupa as part of their prayer rituals. You can light a traditional butter lamp and offer your prayers, if you wish. (Full Day; Time of Day: Morning & Afternoon; Fitness Level: Easy; Please be suitably attired for visiting temples. Footwear and leather items are not usually allowed inside the Pashupatinath Temple. Pokhara has it all – a picturesque valley nestled amid majestic mountains, glorious adventure trails and delicious cuisine! Originally envisioned as a center of commerce, the city’s roots can be traced back to the 17th century, when it featured on the trade route between India and China.

Jaunt into tranquility during your full day tour of Pokhara. Explore the incredible Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist temple that was built in 1947 as a symbol of world peace, located atop Anadu Hill. Discover one of the city’s oldest temples, Bindhyabasini Mandi, which is dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati. At the International Mountain Museum you can delve into the history of mountaineering and the Himalayan peaks. Head to Purano Bazaar in the old quarters, where the ancient architecture of Newari traders is on display through narrow streets lined with shops. A one hour drive to the village of Naudanda (nine hills) boasts excellent views, as does a scenic boat ride on Pehwa Lake.

Break Your Fast At Himalayan Front
Savor a hearty breakfast at the Himalayan Front Hotel, an aptly named modern hotel overlooking the remarkable Pokhara valley. At the break of dawn, laze at the poolside Summit restaurant that graces the ground floor terrace. Enjoy your delicious meal with unobstructed, breathtaking views of the lower Himalayan ranges, especially the snow-capped peaks of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). You can dine al fresco, or be seated indoors while enjoying the view through huge glass windows. Choose from the refreshing a la carte menu or a delectable buffet spread serving Chinese, Continental, Indian and Nepali cuisines. You can also sample local flavors and delicacies from the region, cooked with ingredients sourced from the organic garden on site. Later, soak in more panoramic vistas with a drink in hand at the rooftop Earth Watch Lounge. Witness a mellow golden hue of the sun light up the landscape, as the sky fills with soaring eagles. Chitwan: A wholly different experience! Chitwan is home to one of Asia’s finest National parks and one of the most traditional and conservative indigenous people of Nepal – the Chepangs.

Safari Tour Of Royal Chitwan National Park
Explore the World Heritage Site of the Royal Chitwan National Park – one of the last remaining virgin Terai regions that once stretched across the length of the Himalayan foothills of India and Nepal. Day 1: Arrive at the Bharatpur Airport and drive down to Chitwan. Enjoy lunch at your hotel before taking an elephant safari ride/Jeep Safari into the thick forests of the National Park. Spend your afternoon tracking the park’s Big Five, including the endangered one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros, the Royal Bengal tiger, the leopard, the Asian elephant, and the Himalayan sloth bear. Return from your afternoon safari to enjoy a slideshow on the wildlife heritage of the Park, followed by dinner. Day 2: After breakfast, take a jeep safari in the company of your local forest guide. Ride into the dense jungles with its tall elephant grass and marshland—the perfect territory for the Park’s resident wildlife population. Chitwan is home to a huge and varied population of birds and gharials (crocodiles) too. End your morning with a rewarding session spent bathing domestic elephants and learning about elephant conservation in Nepal. Return for lunch, before heading off for an adventurous canoe ride along the Rapti River, accompanied by your guide. In the evening, enjoy a cultural evening with a traditional Tharu dance performance, followed by dinner. In case you feel adventurous enough to stay back for a third night, you could choose to take a full day safari. If you’re lucky, your naturalist guide could also arrange for a safe nature walk through the Park. (2 Days; Private Activity & Transfers; Note: The park is closed for jeep safaris during monsoon from June to September until reopening of the rough tracks til mid-October; during closure, jeep safaris take place along the forests of the northern border; elephant safaris might not be organized by some hotels, such as Tharu Safari).

Walk across the many narrow cobbled streets and lanes flanked by rows of beautiful traditional houses featuring exquisitely carved doors and windows.
