This unique safari has been designed to raise awareness about the Park’s efforts to support the Victoria Falls Anti-Poaching Unit (VFAPU). Begin your unusual African safari by getting to know the history behind VFAPU, the victories they have achieved so far and the challenges they continue to face—straight from a core team member. Learn about prevalent forms of poaching and how miscreants lay snares for capturing animals. Armed with your knowledge, go on a field trip to the Zambezi National Park. You will play an important role in the region’s conservation efforts. Learn to record game sightings, identify spoor, patrol less visited corners of the Park and sweep for wire snares. Your continued presence on the ground and awareness of poaching issues will help prevent this heinous crime. Part proceeds from your safari will directly support VFAPU.
