Essential Bangkok with Lunch Discover Bangkok in all its regal glory! Begin with a cruise through the Thonburi klongs (canals) on a long tail boat. Stop enroute at Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn monastery that was built to resemble Mount Meru from Hindu mythology! Across the river, a short stroll takes you to the majestic Grand Palace, where the beautiful throne halls and enigmatic Emerald Buddha will leave you spellbound. Continue on to Wat Pho where you will find the famous reclining Buddha. Take a break for lunch at a local, riverside restaurant to sample some delicious Thai food. Once you have had your fill, continue on to Wat Benchamabophit, or the Marble Temple, which is a fantastic fusion of Thai and European architecture and offers interesting insights into the daily lives of monks. In the late afternoon, return to the comfort of your hotel.
Chiang Mai is the cultural capital of northern Thailand and is enveloped by a ring of mountains.
Chiang Mai City Tour and Doi Suthep Explore the wonders of Chiang Mai by foot! Begin your walking tour of this charismatic city at the banks of Mae Ping River. At Warorot Market, you will be greeted by excited locals hunting for exotic culinary delights, colorful fruits and spices, and a variety of household staples. Walk down to the historic Tapae Gate and the Three Kings Monuments, before visiting Wat Chiang Man, which is the oldest temple in the region. Take a fortifying lunch break at a local restaurant, sampling local delicacies. Afterwards, drive up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, an iconic temple site in Northern Thailand. The climb up the famous Naga staircase offers spectacular photo opportunities of the city spread out below in all its glory. At the top, admire the enormous temple gong and unending row of temple bells. (Full Day; Private Activity & Transfer; Fitness Level: Easy; Please be suitably attired for temple visit with covered and loose fitting clothes – shorts, mini-skirts, tight fitting trousers, sleeveless shirts or vests, and sandals are not allowed inside the temple).
Half Day Visit to Elephant Nature Park Spend half day with gentle giants, one of the most revered creatures in Thailand. At the Elephant Nature Park in the picturesque valley of Mae Taeng just an hour from Chiang Mai, these beautiful pachyderms receive all the care and respect that they truly deserve. This 20 year old sanctuary houses the country’s rescued elephants, from newborn babes to imposing oldtimers, and provides them a natural habitat to thrive in. Help feed the elephants from the viewing platform and learn about the life of elephants and the threats they face in Southeast Asia from wildlife experts and local caregivers. Take a walk around the park with your guide and spend time watching the elephants interact and play within their herds. Your visit helps to support regional projects, provide ongoing care as well as make future rescues possible. Enjoy a vegetarian buffet before saying farewell to the elephants and the caretakers and return to Chiang Mai. (Half Day, Morning 0800 hrs, Shared Activity & Private Transfer, Travel Time to Activity: 1 hr, Meals: Vegetarian Buffet Lunch Included, Duration: half day. Cruising along Thailand’s southern peninsular coast offers unparalleled views of the country’s tropical beauty. Phuket’s white sand beaches against a backdrop of lush green mountains, along with its secure anchorages make it a perfect cruise destination.
The Moorings Cruise: 5 Nights / 6 Days Day 1: Koh Hong Yachting in Koh Hong waters brings you to the glorious beauty of Ao Phang-nga National Park, which was established in 1981. It’s known throughout the world for its myriad caves, soaring limestone pinnacles, and lush mangrove forests. Large and small mountains rise from the sea at Koh Hong, creating a stunning backdrop to an anchorage surrounded by towering rock formations. Day 2: Koh Rei and Koh Hong Krabi In the morning cruising Koh Roi, and its neighbour, Koh Kudu Yai. They are excellent stopover points before heading south toward Krabi and its beautiful beaches. Koh Hong Krabi yachting is memorable for its stunning beauty. The islands of the Koh Hong Krabi archipelago offer a varied array of snorkeling, pristine beaches, and opportunities to explore ashore or in the dinghy. Day 3: Rai Le Beach Rai Le Beach is famous for its spectacular beaches fronting the Andaman Sea. Many are inaccessible by road due to the towering cliffs and rock formations on the peninsula, creating a remote and secluded ambience that persists even at some of the more developed beaches. Day 4: The Phi Phi Islands Cruising in Phi Phi Don waters is a must during any Phuket yacht charter. Said to be one of the three most beautiful islands in the world, Phi Phi Don is a major tourist attraction, drawing boatloads of visitors every day during the high season from Phuket and Krabi. Yet, it still retains its idyllic charm, with the beachfront restaurants, bars, and shops at Ton Sai Bay blending in with the stunning scenery. Nearby Phi Phi Le is also magnificent, a jewel of the Andaman Sea well worth exploring. Snorkeling and scuba diving on the reefs in the area is some of the best in Thailand. Day 5: Koh Rang Yai Yachting in Koh Rang Yai waters is a delight as you cruise along the east coast of Phuket. Koh Rang Yai and the surrounding area are very popular among local boaters, in part because of its location with easy access to Phang-nga Bay, Krabi, and the Phi Phi Islands. There is a restaurant ashore, and bike rentals are available. Day 6: Phuket Arrive back to Phuket and Ao Po Marina before midday.
Phuket, in Thailand, has emerged as one of the most popular destinations in the world! Azure blue oceans, verdant rainforests and golden beaches are characteristic of the largest island in Thailand.
