Vancouver is a beautiful cosmopolitan city buzzing with life nestled in the lap of the Pacific ocean and the North Shore mountains. Take a stroll through some of the trendy and colorful neighborhoods dabbling with some of the local fare.

The thriving craft beer scene in Vancouver makes it the perfect city to explore at a leisurely place. Begin your excursion in the historic Brewery Creek neighborhood, where the earliest breweries used the water from the nearby False Creek to make their beer. Stroll through pedestrian-friendly streets, pausing at regular intervals to sample craft beers ranging from popular mainstays like ales and lagers to more experimental sours and stouts. You could also try breweries known for their innovative English beers and use of Australian hops. Find heritage bars and atmospheric industrial buildings to bustling pubs and hip lounges with an active social media presence. An exploration that’s bound to put you in good spirits! Take a relaxed rafting tour on the Athabasca River, which originates at the Columbia Glacier in Jasper National Park and journeys almost 1,000 miles across Alberta, draining into Lake Athabasca. As you travel along this 10-mile route, experience the spectacular scenic beauty of Jasper National Park.This is the same route that the fur traders of the 18th century used. Your licensed guide will tell you more about this natural wonderland and its history of human contact. Life jackets and the specially designed 7-meter-long oar-powered rafts ensure a safe, comfortable ride along rapids and calm stretches alike. Your guide will paddle the raft through some sections with Class 2 rapids so there is a chance you will get slightly wet, but ponchos are provided.
