Day 1 - 4

International Arrival

You will be transferred from Vancouver airport to your hotel in a private vehicle

Vancouver is a beautiful cosmopolitan city buzzing with life nestled in the lap of the Pacific ocean and the North Shore mountains. Take a stroll through some of the trendy and colorful neighborhoods dabbling with some of the local fare.

Vancouver is a beautiful cosmopolitan city surrounded by stunning scenery and landscapes. Explore the city’s many sights starting with the Totem Poles in Stanley Park and learn how Canada’s First Nations approach history. Continue to the nearby Prospect Point which offers stunning views of Lions Gate Bridge and the North Shore mountains. Venture over to Canada Place and marvel at Vancouver´s world-famous and Best-Destination-Experience-Award-winning cruise ship terminal. Continue on over to the nearby Jack Poole Plaza to view the majestic Olympic Cauldron built for the 2010 Winter Olympics. From there, take the opportunity to explore the glittery shopping paradise of Robson Street before heading to Vancouver’s historic and charming Gastown. Don’t forget to explore the second largest ChinaTown in North America while you’re in the area. Another must is to take in the stunning views at English Bay in the West End of Vancouver, before you finish off at Granville Island where you’ll find an eclectic array of shops and galleries, restaurants, and of course the famous Granville Island Public Market. Explore Vancouver’s Brewery Creek on your own
The thriving craft beer scene in Vancouver makes it the perfect city to explore at a leisurely place. Begin your excursion in the historic Brewery Creek neighborhood, where the earliest breweries used the water from the nearby False Creek to make their beer. Stroll through pedestrian-friendly streets, pausing at regular intervals to sample craft beers ranging from popular mainstays like ales and lagers to more experimental sours and stouts. You could also try breweries known for their innovative English beers and use of Australian hops. Find heritage bars and atmospheric industrial buildings to bustling pubs and hip lounges with an active social media presence. An exploration that’s bound to put you in good spirits! Make your own way to the Vancouver center and pick up your rental car

Drive yourself from Vancouver to Whistler in your rental car (Duration: 2 hrs). Enjoy the spectacular scenery along the fjord-like coastline meandering into the mountains.

Whistler is a popular resort town nestled in the Coastal Mountains of British Columbia, just a couple of hours north of Vancouver. One of the world’s most popular ski destinations, this quaint little alpine town has the largest skiing area on the continent.

Try to spot wild black bears as you range through Whistler and Blackomb slopes on this thrilling tour. Set off in your comfortable 4×4 vehicle across a varied landscape from valley floors to serene skiing routes and mountain peaks. Learn from your naturalist expert about bear feeding and mating patterns, that change not just with seasons but with elevation as well. Accompany your guide to sites where the bears feed and lounge in day beds. Visit dens where they spend nights and explore old-growth forests where they hibernate to tide over long harsh winters. By the end of the tour you will not only have learnt more about these majestic Alpine animals but felt greater appreciation for the precious flora and fauna of the Whistler Mountains. Drive yourself in your rental car from Whistler to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal (duration: 1.5 hrs)

Board your car ferry across the Strait of Georgia from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo Departure Bay and watch out for Orcas, dolphins and whales! (duration: 2 hrs)

Take a trip to Tofino, a sleepy coastal village on the western shores of Vancouver Island, Canada. Nestled within the traditional territory of the region’s myriad First Nations communities, expect indigenous arts and cultural interactions.

Group Whale & Bear Watching Tour with Hot Springs
Discover the best of West Coast natural attractions over the course of a two-day tour that packs in whale and bear watching, hot springs bathing and much more! On the first day, the Hot Springs Voyager excursion takes you through northern waters to catch sight of gray and humpback whales. Look out for other marine wildlife like sea lions, seals and otters that stay closer to the coast. Arrive next at a unique seaside hot spring surrounded by old-growth rainforests. After soaking in the balmy waters, rest for a while before setting off for a ‘Coastal Bear Watch’ excursion that takes you through the beautiful inlets of Clayoquot Sound. Let your guide bring you to the perfect spot to watch wild black bears rumble-rolling rocks as they forage the intertidal zone for crabs and shellfish. Seals and bald eagles are other marine flora commonly spotted in this wildlife tour that gives you first-hand experience of the rich ecosystem of the region. Hike Lone Cone and enjoy magnificent views on your own
The towering splendor of Lone Cone Mountain makes for the perfect reason to set off on this invigorating hike on your own. After a scenic boat ride from Tofino, arrive at Meares Island, where the trailhead begins on the west coast. The majestic Lone Cone peak rises sharply from the ocean in the Clayoquot Sound, as a result of which the trail climbs around 700 meters in just over 1.5 km. However, all your hard work is more than rewarded when you reach the peak. Take in spectacular vistas of Clayoquot Sound and the Pacific Ocean beyond, while to the south, you can make out the Tofino skyline. After a well-deserved rest and umpteen numbers of photos, get ready for the descent and return trip back to Tofino. (Duration: Half Day; Best time for activity; summer months; No guide; No transfers; Entrance fees and meals are not included; Fitness level: moderate; Guests are advised to dress in hiking shoes and bring necessary gear)
