Scheduled Morning Dolphin & Seal Catamaran Cruise
Feel your senses come alive on the marine educational sightseeing tour. The luxurious catamaran sets sail from the Walvis Bay Waterfront every morning. Cruise the clear waters for guaranteed sightings of the marine Big 5 such as whales, dolphins, Mola mola, leatherback turtle, and seals. The route goes past the Pelican Point and the old lighthouse, an area abundant with over 60,000 Cape fur seals and various kinds of dolphins. These friendly creatures are quite likely to cruise along. Glance above and you will see various birds like the kelp gull, Hartlaub’s gull, pelicans, and Cape Cormorant glide above you. Look into the starling oyster beds where these glistering gems are cultivated. If you are travelling during July to November, expect a sudden visitor by your side as larger mammals such as the southern right whale and humpback whales come to say hello. Dig into fresh oysters and delicious snacks as you enjoy the cruise.
