Explore one of the seven wonders of the world with a fascinating full day tour of the glorious, ancient and impressive Angkor Wat. This stunning temple complex boasts five magnificent towers and vast gallery complex, with the main attraction being the dominating Angkor Wat, which magically reflects in nearby water at sunrise and sunset. Head onwards to Angkor Thom, a moated royal city in the bayon style of large faces on all sides. Discover Ta Phrom, a quiet and sprawling jungle clad monastic complex engulfed by massive fig and silk cotton trees. With incredible legend of regal feuds and religious overhaul, this temple complex is undoubtedly one of the finest in the world. For this reason, it can sometimes become busy with crowds.

Tonle Sap Lake Boat Ride
Drive out of the city for about 45 minutes into the countryside, for a unique lake-living experience! Stop off on the way at a local village. Arriving at the quay you will board a local boat that will take you on a 1.5 hour cruise of Tonle Sap Lake, known as the Great Lake of Cambodia, and home to the unique floating villages. Discover how communities live and work on the lake – with floating schools, churches, stores and markets! You can observe how crocodiles farming forms an important part of this culture. This half day experience is best enjoyed from July to February when water levels are high.

Arrange an optional pre-dawn start with your guide (0530hrs) to witness the daily morning ritual of ‘Tak Bat’ or giving of alms to hundreds of saffron-robed monks. This truly awe-inspiring ritual still followed by the locals in Luang Prabang, dates back generations. Also, visit the local fresh market to see locals shopping before returning to your hotel. After breakfast, visit the quaint Royal Palace Museum, offering overviews of the local history on a guided audio tour. Walk on to the unique Wat Mai with its five-tiered roof. Continue walking via the city’s quiet back lanes to the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its low-to-the-ground sweeping roof, representing classic Luang Prabang styles. Later, stroll along the Nam Khan River to Wat Visoun or Wisunalat, called the ‘Watermelon Stupa’ due to its odd shape, housing ancient Buddha images. In the afternoon, visit the Arts and Ethnology Center, providing insights into Lao’s ethnic mix and culture. Then, visit Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek weaving and textile villages. Finally, end the day with a climb to Mount Phousi to enjoy a spectacular sunset and panoramic views over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River.

Day Trip To Kuang Si Waterfalls & Pak Ou Caves
Discover beautiful landscapes! After your breakfast, enjoy a relaxing upstream cruise on a private boat past tranquil countryside vistas and moored wooden canoes on the Mekong. Disembark at the Ban Muang Keo village and take a short trek to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, which house thousands of Buddha figurines in varying sizes! On your way back to Luang Prabang for lunch, stop to explore the artisans colony at Ban Nongxai. Drive out to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls in the afternoon, where a refreshing dip in the turquoise waters do much to revive you. A visit to the Bear Rescue Centre to see the rehabilitated rare Asiatic Black Bears, can be a rewarding experience before you return to your hotel in the evening.

Cruise on Halong Legend Junk Day 1: Hanoi to Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay Drive through the picturesque paddy fields of Red River Delta, to reach Halong. En route, stop in Hai Duong province and enjoy refreshments. At the Tuan Chau Wharf, take a photo break aboard the Glory Legend Private Lounge before you are transferred to the boat where you will be briefed as you enjoy your welcome drink. Lunch is served en route to Vung Vieng through the magnificent Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long Bay, where famous sites like Perfume Rock, Fighting Cock, Lonely Rock and Saddle Rock await. Friendly local people at the village will help you row your boat through various sites and islands where you can enjoy swimming and kayaking. Enjoy a relaxing evening back on the boat or some squid fishing, and indulge in a pre-booked massage or a cooking class on the sundeck, before sampling an authentic Vietnamese dinner. Day 2: Halong Bay to Hanoi Warm beverages and pastries are served early and followed by a Tai Chi lesson on the boat. Afterwards, you can disembark and climb the 100 steps to reach the beautiful Sung Sot Caves. After your expedition, enjoy a leisurely brunch aboard the Halong Legend as you cruise back to Tuan Chau Wharf. Once you disembark, you can visit a traditional pottery workshop on your way back to Hanoi.

Halong Bay Cruise Activities (Jasmine Cruise)
Set sail into Halong Bay! Take a four hour drive from Hanoi to reach the jetty and take a boat to the Jasmine Junk. After your safety briefing, feast on a seafood lunch while cruising past limestone islands. Visit Tien Ong Caves, or take a bamboo boat ride to Halong’s oldest floating village at Cua Van. Back on the junk experience a Vietnamese culinary demonstration, unwind with a massage, and enjoy a cultural performance before dinner. Begin the next morning with Tai Chi before heading to a beach. Cruise back to Halong through picturesque Ti Top Island, Tam Cung Cave and Poem Mountain. Enjoy your brunch on board just before you arrive at Royal Park Pier around 1100 hours, before a leisurely drive back to Hanoi.

Discover the Cu Chi Tunnels, an immense world famous tunnel complex that was first constructed in 1948 as a means to protect the Viet Cong guerillas from their French enemy. The tunnel system network grew as the need arose during the Vietnam War (1955 – 1975), becoming not just a communication route and food and weapon storage facilities, but also the guerilla’s living quarters. In fact, they even housed hospitals. The Americans conducted several military campaigns against the tunnels throughout the last decade of combat. Dubbed the Black Echo due to the hardship of this underground life that was rife with insect infestations and disease, this unique tour provides you with an opportunity to witness the resilience of the Vietnamese.

Explore Saigon, a city that never sleeps! With its vibrant, exciting energy and brimming with people, you’ll quickly notice how modernity has collided with its rich history.
