As the sixth-biggest city in South Africa, Bloemfontein offers numerous sights and enterprise possibilities. Bloemfontein is a Dutch name for ‘Fountain of flowers’ and the city is now locally know as the ‘City of flowers” due to the many flowers showcased in the annual rose festival held here. Bloemfontein is part of the Mangaung Local Municipality – “place where the Cheetahs dwell” and is the economic hub of Mangaung and also the commercial capital of the Free State. The atmosphere that one feels in Bloemfontein is one based on an appreciation of family values, where quality of life is of prime importance. Business and family interests are combined, in a hand-in-glove way, with no reason for discord; cultures are intermingled, again with peaceable accord. When in the Bloemfontein, take some time and visit the Naval a Hill @ hill in the middle of the city where you have not only a good look at the city, but antelopes, bunches and giraffes and many other herbivores also live here!
