I wanted to see India without the hassles of trying to figure out transport and bookings on my own. Your website was the first hint that something special could happen – and then my first phone conversation with Anita Sahl sort of clinched it – she listened closely, carried my enthusiasm (at that point it seemed like an impossible dream) and was frank, too – which I truly appreciated.

After booking a marvelous 18 days in Rajasthan and Kerala with Enchanting Travels I wanted more – particularly to see the Ganges river and foothills of the Himalaya. As usual, Enchanting Travels gave me opportunities and experiences I could not have had otherwise. I’ll offer: don’t go to Rishikesh unless you’re serious about Yoga – go to Haridwar, for sure – for me it was a highlight of the whole trip and I was only there for one morning. The road from Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh is long, trafficky, rough in places because of new construction, but utterly interesting if you have the good luck of having a driver like I had, especially in harvest season for sugarcane! Don’t pass by the roadside sugarcane juice makers or the Jaggary makers or the odd and wonderful singularities along the way. Do spend an evening, just before or during sunset, to walk along the promenade outside of Rishikesh – you might see a wild elephant bathing in the river. I did

We have twice traveled, with Enchanting Travels, to India. From our initial contact with our consultant, Anita Sahi, we were thoroughly impressed by the personal attention we were immediately given. Anita listened carefully and has, thus far, planned for us two incredible journeys. She has been able to meet or exceed all of our expectations, with extreme kindness and generosity, while staying within the confines of the budgets we allotted. On both occasions, when we arrived at our destination, we were shortly thereafter contacted by our coordinator, Sneha Gosh, who made it her responsibility to ensure we would travel safely, pleasantly and with as few inconveniences as possible. We have enjoyed every minute of each journey and have already begun planning our third trip to India, with Enchanting Travels of course!

Wonderful way to experience a beautiful country and its people! Our family enjoyed many “enchanting” days with local guides who shared their understanding of the Thai cuisine, history, Buddhism, etc. Highlights of trip included a visit to elephant sanctuary, Thai cooking school, and antiquities. Safe travel by internal flights, trains, small vans, and public transportation. Totally satisfying experience having worked with Enchanting Travels ~ we will return!

My wife and I undertook a month long tour of India to include two weeks in the north and two weeks in the south and the whole trip was a great experience. As we used trains, planes and personal drivers for transportation and were supported by very good tour guides throughout we felt we managed to experience India’s culture very well. We encountered delays/cancellations during our flights and train journeys but our drivers never let us down. The food was amazing throughout as were the sights and sounds. We must give special mention to our trip coordinator, Ashwini Mohan, who not only promptly dealt with the problems which we faced but also kept in touch with us ensuring all aspects of our tour were progressing as planned and ensured we enjoyed our tour of India.

We traveled to Sri Lanka with Enchanting Travels. Our Trip was excellent. Our guide, Denver, was excellent and very professional. The itinerary was perfect, we saw and did everything. Accommodations were first class.

This was perhaps the most luxurious tour I’ve been on. It was such a treat to come into an airport and be met and transported to a beautiful hotel without any fuss. Having our own guide at the sites we visited meant that we could move at our own pace and ask as many questions as we wanted.

Nice and professional company and we felt that the staff is charming and proud to be part of this organization. They really care about the well being of their clients.

Having travelled quite a bit its hard to always put one specific thing as being the “best part”. My girlfriend and i truly just love to see new places, go on new adventures, eat at new restaurants and meet new people which all come along with a trip like this. Having a car is also by far the best way to see South Africa, i would say its a MUST for anyone planning on going there. South Africa truly is a “world within our world”. From the Flora to the Fauna its like nothing I have ever seen. In a day of driving you can go from fire swept dry fields and mountain sides to Lush Greenery along the Oceans edge. Driving is an experience in itself with the zigzagging roads and peaks to climb and descend. It is a place of true beauty and everyone was extremely friendly. Never was worried or nervous anywhere we went. Pot Luck Club is also a must in Cape town, try to be seated in front of the kitchen at the bar, really a unique experience and go hungry! The game parks although kind of “controlled” are an incredible way to see animals most will never see in the wild. All in all coming from Canada, even with a flight to Europe and then and 11 hr flight to SA I cant wait to get back there one day and hopefully to more of Africa.

A trip of a life time!!

A very educational trip that was made interesting and fun because of our guide and driver. We are 2, over 75 year old women, on our fist trip to India, not sure what to expect but always feeling safe and looked after and looking forward to what the next day would bring.

The itinerary we built with Brenda lived up and exceeded our expectation and was just a lovely trip overall.

My husband and I do not care for group travel as it takes away from personal experiences. Traveling in Europe has been easier knowing that English is spoken as a second language by many. However, everything we read prior to our visit to South America said that English was not a frequently used language. This was very true!! Throughout our month long stay in South America, Enchanting Travels provided us with English speaking tour guides, airport assistants, hotel assistants, etc. that were able to save us valuable time and frustration by being our interpreters and explaining to us what we should expect each day. They would tell us how to dress for the next day based on weather reports. They helped us check into hotels and navigate lines at the airport. One person even helped me find medicine for my husband and offered to provide a doctor. We are planning several more trips and will use Enchanting Travels!
