Truly Great People
Three years ago, we booked a safari tour of Tanzania through Enchanting Travels after reading the reviews of several travelers and speaking to some who had used them. We were looking for a Travel Consulting Company which could help us customize our itinerary and take care of the entire trip from beginning to end. We received complete support from Enchanting’s travel experts from day one. They were very prompt in developing an itinerary that fit into our budget and interests; answered all our questions in detail with clarity and advised on cost impact of various options and special arrangements we wanted to make. The travel planners, tour guides and drivers Enchanting arranged for us were knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and communicated with us in excellent English. The hotels and camps Enchanting selected for us were also excellent. Overall, every member of our group of ten were absolutely thrilled by the experience of a lifetime.
Based on that experience, our group again booked a tour of Japan coinciding with the Cherry blossom season. Just before our tour date, the Covid19 pandemic raised its ugly head and we had to postpone our trip and later cancel it entirely. The folks at Enchanting Travels, starting with Devika Ray and Lisa Fox understood the implications of this unprecedented global situation, our health risks, and the huge financial loss we were facing due to the cancellation of the trip. They worked diligently with their travel partners in Japan and issued for Credit Vouchers for us for a future trip (of course, only after the Covid19 threat vanishes). That was a very fair deal. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism, efficiency, and promptness with which they handled our plight. Devika Ray and Lisa Fox were immensely helpful throughout.

This was absolutely amazing! We spent 9 or so days traveling throughout India and Enchanting Travels was very hospitable and flexible! Our tour guides were personable and funny, as well as knowledgeable. All of the hotel accommodations were clean and beautiful. I think the real difference for me was with our Trip Coordinator and how she would reach out daily to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and making herself available if any problems arose.
